At a minimum, every collection includes a discussion guide with the three questions below to kick off a group discussion:
- From your perspective, what was this collection about?
- What mattered to you and what didn’t matter as much?
- What, if anything, do you think you’ll do differently as a result?
Guided group discussions are one means of encouraging social learning, which supports knowledge retention and integration through observing others. Additionally, small group discussions are shown to promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and meta-cognition. Discussion guides are available from within the collection journey page. Leaders or learners can access the discussion guides by navigating to the 'Discussion' tab as shown below.
